Registered Nurse Oncology | Alpharetta, Georgia New

This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in an outpatient infusion center dedicated to oncology patients. The position involves working with a diverse patient population requiring intravenous treatments in a modern 65-chair facility. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in oncology nursing, including bone marrow transplant experience, and be comfortable delivering complex care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Administering chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments safely and accurately
• Monitoring patients for adverse reactions and responding appropriately
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of oncology protocols and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure with a minimum of 2 years experience in oncology nursing
• Chemo certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with bone marrow transplant patient care and oncology transport preferred
• Ability to work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Years Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Years Eve) as required

• Contract position with a duration of 13 weeks
